The basics

What is a Google Business Profile audit?

A Google Business Profile audit checks your Maps listing as customers see it: is the information complete and correct, does it match your website, how do your reviews and photos compare with businesses nearby, and what should you fix first?

The audit reads your public listing through Google’s official Places API. It compares name, address and phone with your website, checks 18 profile fields and benchmarks your rating, reviews and media against a sample of competitors in the same category and city. The result is a Local Presence Score with its formula printed, plus a prioritised fix list. Owner-only data such as insights, posts and Q&A cannot be seen from outside, so it is listed as not tested and never guessed.

Problems we solve

Your listing is often the first thing customers see

Calls and visits are down

A wrong phone number, outdated hours or a weak category quietly send customers to competitors.

Competitors look better on Maps

More photos, more reviews, clearer services. See the gap in numbers.

You are not sure the details match

Name, address and phone must agree between Google and your website. We check them side by side.

Impact

What a cleaner listing can do

Customers reach the right number

A wrong phone or outdated hours quietly send calls elsewhere. Fixing them is the fastest win of all.

Stronger local trust signals

Consistent details across your listing and website support the prominence Google weighs in local results.

Standing out against neighbours

Seeing your rating, review count and photos next to local competitors shows exactly where you fall behind.

A plan instead of guesswork

Fixes in order of impact, with the checkpoints only you can act on in your account.

Our process

We find your listing together

1

Free health check

Enter your website. It takes about a minute.

2

Pick your listing

In the chat we search Google Maps with your business name and city — you choose the right one.

3

We read and compare

Your public listing, your website and a sample of nearby competitors.

4

Report in about 20 minutes

Quality-reviewed and delivered. Ask what to fix first.

Evidence and honest scope

Public data, read honestly

Measured from real data

  • Your public listing from Google Maps (Google Places API).
  • Up to 5 reviews and 10 photos, as Google returns them.
  • Your website, for name, address, phone and local signals.
  • A sample of competitors in the same category and city.

What it does not do

  • It cannot see owner-only data: posts, Q&A, attributes, services, insights (views, calls, directions).
  • It does not show your Maps ranking and never promises a local-pack position.
  • It cannot tell whether a listing is claimed or verified.
  • Nothing on your profile is changed. No review buying, gating or incentives — ever.
Why Deep SEO

Why choose Deep SEO for your Maps Audit?

Official public data

Read through Google’s Places API. We do not scrape, and we never log in to your account.

Compared with real neighbours

The benchmark comes from businesses in your category and city, not from national averages.

Honest about what is hidden

Owner-only data is marked not tested. The score leaves unverifiable parts out instead of guessing.

Review-policy safe

Guidance on getting and answering reviews stays inside Google’s rules. No gating, buying or incentives.

Questions

Frequently asked questions about the Maps Audit

What if I do not have a listing yet?

Then the Setup Pack is the right service. If an audit was ordered and no listing exists, the setup pack is delivered instead and the $30 difference is returned to your credits.

Do you need access to my Google account?

No. The audit reads only public data. Owner-only information is listed clearly as not tested.

Does it work for businesses in Iran?

Yes, the audit of an existing public listing works, with a notice that Google Business Profile features are limited there.

Will you change my profile?

No. You get the fixes and the checkpoints; you apply them in your own account.

Can I audit a competitor’s listing?

The audit is built for your own business listing, confirmed with you in the chat. For side-by-side comparisons of websites, use the AI Competitor Analysis.

How is the Local Presence Score calculated?

From completeness, consistency, reviews, website and media, with the weights printed in the report. Parts that cannot be verified from public data are left out rather than estimated.
